Two key hires to drive collaborative marketing

Be An Idea has relaunched as Singapore’s first collaborative marketing consultancy and aims to foster collaborations between the private, public and non-profit sectors. It works on the ethos that “better” is built together with partners, rather than in the silos that traditional marketing often builds. Its core services are to advise clients on how to build collaborative marketing strategies, broker valuable partnerships and deliver shared value through shared purpose platforms.

Driving its business growth in Singapore are two key hires for Be An Idea - Rebekah Lin and Anthony Caravello.

Rebekah joins as Community Engagement lead to build stronger relationships between the consultancy and the non-profit community. She will be responsible for the Fuze Nights and Vision, two event assets designed to facilitate and inspire collaborations. She also serves as the co-founder for the non-profit 50 for 50, a youth-led initiative that raised over $3.6m in donations for over 40 charities in 2014. She will split her responsibilities across both organisations.

Anthony will be responsible for delivering strategic collaborative marketing services to the consultancy’s clients and develop its thought leadership around public, private and non-profit partnerships. He joins from McCann Worldgroup Singapore where he worked as a strategic planner on key client accounts such as Nestle, Wyeth, Johnson & Johnson Vision Care and OCBC. He also recently graduated from Singapore Management University (SMU) with the newly formed Master’s in Tri-Sector Collaboration.

The area of collaborative marketing is a new field for a lot of marketers and the team will be responsible for building the category as well as driving value for clients and their partners.
